I’m so excited when I see trends for giving back hit the mainstream and this month I was personally influenced twice! (Yay!) I was invited to two birthday parties this month, one using Evite and the other a printed invitation, but what they both had in common was a suggestion to make a donation instead of bringing a gift! I absolutely love this! In a world where many of us have too many things, it’s so nice to know that both the giver and receiver can enjoy the feeling of having contributed to a worthy cause.
It was interesting to note that the evite invitation had the donation button right in the invite, which made it even easier. This qualifies for both our 2 Minute Action Plans and our Gifts that Give Back categories!
