Much like putting your own oxygen mask on first before helping those around you, self care is a vital part of being able to give back at your fullest potential. It’s easy to slip into the routine of giving all you’ve got, but it can lead to burnout in the blink of an eye. By making your own self care a priority, you’re actually going to be able to create a bigger impact for those causes you care about because you’ll show up rested, refreshed and ready to go.
