Self Care Sunday has us wanting to live the nap lifestyle this week. We’ve had a lot going on and sometimes what you really need is to simply sleep a little extra.
Full disclosure, I’m a horrible napper. I tend to start thinking about everything else that I need to be doing as soon as my head hits the pillow. But, maybe that’s a sign that I’m not giving myself full permission to rest. (Hmmm… I’ll have to think on that one — preferably when I’m not trying to nap.)
But, rest is important, especially when you are spending your energy helping others. So, if your body is asking for some self care, consider a nap to refresh and refuel.
